“Design isn’t just about how things look—it’s about making life easier, clearer, and more human.”

About

Through design and collaboration, I help product teams move faster without losing sight of what really matters: the people using what we build.
My journey — from freelance designer to founder of devmethink — has been about creating systems, teams, and experiences that put users first and scale with intention.

my story
Designer, founder, and volunteer firefighter living in a small town in central Portugal—where the calm helps me think clearer and design better.

I’ve always loved design. But when I realized I could impact people’s lives through thoughtful, user-centered experiences—not just pretty screens—I knew that’s where I wanted to make a difference.
After working at some incredible companies with talented teams, I hit a point where KPIs and internal politics started mattering more than users. So I made a choice: I left a safe, well-paid job to pursue more meaningful work.

I started freelancing, built real partnerships, and eventually launched devmethink—a subscription-based UX/UI agency focused on clarity, empathy, and purpose-driven design.

My design work is shaped by the same mindset that drives me as a firefighter: behind every screen is a human. Someone trying to solve a problem, complete a task, or live better. That’s what keeps me grounded—and why I care deeply about crafting interfaces that feel simple, helpful, and human.

I believe AI can speed up how we build. But if we forget who we’re building for, we risk creating artificial products with no soul. I’m here to make sure that doesn’t happen.
